5) The Beginning 5
PANEL 1: Mark and Zach are still in the kitchen. Zach is sitting at the table with a sandwich and the dolls. Mark is sitting and emoting.
Mark: I’m trying to establish a narrative here, but I just can’t think of a way to end this scene…
Zach: We’re just in the kitchen. Why don’t we just leave?
PANEL 2: Mark gets up cautiously.
Mark: Well, okay…
PANEL 3: Mark exits the kitchen. Zach remains seated.
PANEL 4: Mark pokes his head back in the kitchen. Zach lifts up his sandwich.
Mark: Aren’t you coming?
Zach: I’m not done yet; I gots me a sandwich to eat.
